Ronald Fewell, a native of Madison, Indiana lost his life, in the line of duty, while serving with the Lee County Sheriff's Department near Fort Myers, Florida.

Corporal Fewell responded to a domestic violence call where a male suspect had shot his wife and was threating to kill himself.
